Take a guided tour of the Museum's permanent exhibition hall, A Journey Through Time. The tours are approximately 30-minutes in length and are included with the price of admission. Remember members are always free!

Green River Family Day

Saturday, March 8

11 am to 3 pm

Join us to explore fossil fish from the Green River Formation! Fish for ancient fossils, watch fossil preparation demonstrations and check out some living fossils in our fish tank!

Fossil ID Day

Saturday, March 8

10 am to 12 pm

Staff paleontologists at the Museum of the Earth and PRI help you identify your most puzzling find, from brachiopods to trilobites to funny-looking rocks.

History of Life
Thursday's beginning at 5:30 pm

Be sure to take advantage of this 6-week community education and volunteer training course that gives an overview of the history of life on Earth utilizing the museum exhibits to highlight major events throughout history. Offered Thursday evenings at 5:30 pm. To register for the course or for more information about volunteering at the Museum, please contact Sam Moody at moody@museumoftheearth.org or 607.273.6623 x13. There is a $10 registration fee for non-members and non-volunteers.
